What is the difference between the three types of lash extensions?

Choosing what type of eyelash extensions you want can be daunting! It is personal preference and what look the customer is going for! However, let me give you a short insight into how the different types are different!

Classic Lashes

A full set of these will take 1.5 hours.
These are one single lash places onto one of your natural lashes and each lash is 0.15mm thick.
These are the more natural style (along with natural, soft Russians) and are also a great place to start if you are unsure, or have never had lashes before.

Russian Lashes

A full set of these will take 2.5 hours.
These are lashes of HANDMADE fans. Each lash thickness is 0.05mm - 0.07mm and each fan varies from 2D - 8D depending on the look we are creating. Russians can be thick or full, using the larger fans, or can be very natural and fluffy if going for a softer look.

Hybrids Lashes

A full set of these will take 2 hours.
These lashes are made up of both the classic lash and the handmade Russian fans, creating a more textured look.

As I said, it is complete personal preference and dependent on what you are looking for - I highly recommend having a look through my Instagram page, located on this website to give yourself an idea. If you would like my advice please do not hesitate to drop me a message!

Tips to make your extensions last

  • Do not get wet for 24 hours after treatment of full set or any infills
  • Brush lashes daily
  • Do not pick, pull or fiddle
  • Do not use any mascara on the extensions
  • Use an OIL FREE makeup remover - Simple eye make up remover is the one I recommend
  • Do not attempt to perm or use lash curlers
  • Don't rub your eyes when washing your face - always pat the lashes dry after cleansing
  • Avoid all oily products around the eye area, this includes facewash, foundations, oils and moisturisers!
  • Do not be afraid to wash your lashes!

Lash Cleanser

  • Use weekly or whenever your lashes feel dirty/have a build up of makeup and dirt
  • Add a small amount of cleanser to your eyelid, massage in a downward motion with the lash cleanser brush
  • Wash off with warm water (no soap!)
  • Pat the lashes dry after cleansing
  • Do not pull or rub vigorously. Please be GENTLE!!
  • Remember - Clean lashes last longer, you're removing your natural oils from the lashes cleaning.
